FM tested and approved this 51mm (2”) vent has automatic pressure and vacuum relief and is for use with a standard 205ltr drum (petroleum-based solvents), it must be installed in the vertical position (use a 90° street elbow, 2” BSP male/female)

About Drum and Fill Vents

Pressurised drums can present a serious hazard to workers or emergency services, these products are designed to eliminate this possibility.

All models are designed to automatically release excess pressure build up in case of fire with flame arrestors to prevent flash back into the drum. 

Vacuum release is also automatic on all models except WP-08300 which has manual vacuum release.

Drum vents operate at 0.35 bar internal pressure and fit the 2" opening on steel drums. 

All drum and fill vents are Factory Mutual approved.
